The Bush

Got myself a book on pregnancy recently … a really good book, this one. Lots of information and of course, lots of pics, too. Brought the book back to our place to show dear hubby. Not an avid reader (actually he doesn’t like to read at all), he simply flipped through the book, looking at the pics and asking for explanations whenever he felt like it.

Then some pics caught his attention. They were pics showing a woman giving birth. So you can see a series of pics, from the baby’s head emerging right till the baby’s born. He stared at the pics for a while, in shock. Then he said: These mat sallehs ah! They damn dirty. Thinking that he meant that they simply allowed their pics to be taken even for personal moments like that, I forgot all about it.

Later a couple of friends came to our house. Dear hubby took the book out and started showing them the pics and imagine, explaining, too! Of course, what he explained were basically what I explained to him first. But then he’s somehow become an expert on the subject. Again, he flipped to the pictures showing the woman giving birth. And said: Just look at these mat sallehs. They are so dirty. Don’t they shave?

Oh my God! He meant the woman’s bush. He’d been looking at her bush and not at what the pictures actually represent!!
