New Addition to the Family

Lil’ junior was born today, at 2134H.

What a beautiful lil’ thing. All wrapped up, he (yes, it's a BOY) looked more like a doll. And as I stared at the lil’ boy who was in my tummy for 9 months, I find it unbelievable that I’m now a mother.

During the past 9 months, I have been waking up with a sense of disbelieve – that I’m married and have got a kid on the way. Now that the baby has arrived, I’m again filled with that same sense of disbelieve. Is this really my child?

I wonder if all new mothers felt the same way. But I think like any other new mother, I will soon discover that this is for real. Right?
